Surge Sports is a brand operated by Riverloft Advisors, LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the Surge Sports Global Soccer Challenge, available at surge-sports.vercel.app and through our mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers. We also store your bracket picks and scores as part of operating the game. We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to operate the Contest: to authenticate your account, display your picks and scores on the leaderboard, and contact you if you win a prize. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase (supabase.com) to store account data and picks. We use Google OAuth and Apple Sign In for authentication — their use of your data is governed by Google's and Apple's own privacy policies respectively. Our app is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except as required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and picks for the duration of the 2026 international soccer tournament and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at ben@riverloftadvisors.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Surge Sports is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication, to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered participants of material changes via email. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
